The Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) with the motive of further expanding knowledge on Information Technology (IT) among troops serving SFHQ-C areas, commenced a basic Computer course for troops at the SFHQ-C premises on Thursday (11).
On the directions of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C, a total of 21 Other Ranks began their three-week long course with the support of the Orient Academy, one of the leading computer training institutes in the country.
The inauguration of the course was attended by Brigadier K.M.D.A.A De Silva, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-C, Colonel T.H Draheem, Colonel Administration and Quartering and Major P.P.N.L Patabendige, Staff Officer 2 - Training.
