‘Blissful Minds Group’, a Non-Governmental Organization offered 50 packs of school items to the fatherless children at Sampathnuwara in the Welioya Divisional Secretariat area, following an initiative taken by the 62 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W).
Saturday’s (6) distribution of those school accessories to those families was helped by the Divisional Secretariat for Welioya since they were maintaining records on families without fathers.
Mr. Chinthaka Abeyrathna, Mr. Dimantha Jayawardena, Mr. S.A.M Chandrasoma of the General Officer Commanding of the ‘Blissful Minds Group’, Brigadier K.G.D Perera, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division and several officers were present at the distribution ceremony at the 62 Division Headquarters.
