The Army’s ‘Mini Army Tattoo’ that depicts multi-faceted skills of the Army personnel before the public will be staged at Mallavi, Yogapuram Public Ground with the initiatives taken by the 65 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters- Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) during December 10 - 11 beginning at 2.00 p.m. on both days.
The ‘Mini Army Tattoo’ generally highlights and includes conduct of Army ceremonial features, cultural dancing events, Karate show, free fall parachute jumps, dog shows, riding displays, physical training and fire work displays, drill displays, etc, perhaps never witnessed by the general public in the area.
On both days, separate musical shows and entertaining features are to be staged beginning at 6.00 p.m.
Meanwhile, a two-day ‘Mini Tattoo’ that got underway at Polonnaruwa National playground during December 4 - 5, attracted a large gathering of spectators.
At the invitation of Major General Lal Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E), Chief Minister for North Central Province and Deputy Minister of Land and Land Development, Mr Siripala Gamlath attended the opening ceremonies as Chief Guests respectively during both days.
