A Taiwanese delegation, representing the International Children’s Education Association of Taiwan and Dharma Drum Mountain Foundation of Taiwan after conducting a two-day interactive session with about 350 children at Konavil Tamil School, situated in the 652 Brigade area of Akkarayankulam of the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), on Sunday (2), gave away cash donations and dry ration packets for 100 selected children.
The project was launched on the instructions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN with the coordination, made by 652 Brigade Commander.
Members of the visiting delegation gifted Rs 1000/= to those selected students and afterwards visited 40 of their households in order to learn more about their difficulties and requirements.
