Troops of the 111 Brigade under the 11 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) conducted a ‘Shramadana’ campaign to colourwash the upper floor in the Outdoor Patients’ Department (OPD) at Nawalapitiya Hospital on Saturday and Sunday (Oct 18 & 19).
To promote relations, the Security Forces and the civil society, the troops organized the ‘Shramadana’ campaign under the direction of Major General A.M Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 11 Division and the 111 Brigade Commander.
Hospital staff and general public in the area appreciated the dedication of the soldiers for public good.
