To uplift the living standards of the general public in Mullithivu, 7 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of 683 Brigade in the 68 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) distributed 135 dry ration packs, each worth of Rs. 3500.00 among resettled families in Theravil Gramaseva Division, Mullaithivu at a ceremony held in Madushani Preschool, Theravil on Saturday (11).
Mr. Abraham Rahulan, Area Manager, Alliance Development Trance Institute, North area made the donation at the request of Major General A Kariyakarawana, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 68 Division. Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, SFHQ-MLT had given his blessings to the project.
GOC, 68 Division, Brigade Commander, 683 Brigade, Commanding Officer, 7 GW, Army personnel and members of the general public in the area participated at the occasion.
