Community Service Projects of 'Success' Supported

The ‘Success’ organization, chaired by Dr Anula Wijesundara once again gave its helping hand to Halambewewa and Veherathenna resettled villagers by way of donating push bicycles to students, computers, dry ration packs, etc, following coordination done by 622 Brigade under the Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W).
 
During September 27 - 28, the donors gave away 63 push bicycles to 63 school students at Halambewewa village before 2 computers, each worth Rs 30,000/= were donated to the Principal at Jayanthiwewa Vidyalaya, courtesy the ‘Success’ organization.
 
Later on, packs of consumable dry rations, each worth about Rs 2,000/= and packs of clothes, each valued Rs 3,000/= were distributed by Dr Wijesundara among pregnant mothers, several mothers with infants, large families with low income and poor villagers.
 
Meanwhile, the same organization conducted a mobile medical clinic for villagers in Veheratenna on Sunday (28) and provided medical assistance to more than 255 villagers.
 
The programme coordinated by 623 Brigade was attended by 26 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel A.M.S.D.B Adikari.
