Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) at the request of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) opened the newly constructed Warrant Officers’ Mess and the office of the Commanding Officer of the 26 Battalion, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) at the 330 squadron of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Thursday (25).
The construction was made possible following donations given to the Army by various donors and philanthropists as gestures of goodwill extended to the Army.
Brigadier K.G.D Perera, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division, Brigadier J. Thanthiriwaththa, 623 Brigade Commander and several senior officers were present.
