All ten Army vocalists along with the winner, Captain Aruni de Silva of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police who entered the final round and afterwards the grand finale in the 'Ranaviru Real Star-Mission IV' contest that stymied music lovers on Saturday (26) night at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, received congratulations and greetings of the Commander of the Army when the team called at the Army Headquarters Monday (28) evening.
Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army during a cordial meeting with them expressed his happiness over their achievements and encouraged them to further improve their aesthetic skills. "The Army is ready to give whatever the support you need in your music career and your achievements are an honour and a reputation to the Army as an organization. If there are any shortcomings, keep me informed. Music is a medicine that can heal everyone and that healing would make you a perfect one in the future," the Commander remarked.
Before their exit, the Commander separately wished each of them good luck and inquired into their future expectations. Here follow the names and particulars of the group who met the Commander.
