To be in line with the government’s social integration week, the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) launched a series of projects in the past one week.
Educational Divisional Office, in close cooperation with civil organizations and the SFHQ-MLT staged the ‘Aradhanawa’ cultural spectacle, drawing school students of Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim ethnicities on July 12 with the participation of students of 66 schools in the Mullaittivu District.
Artistic skills jointly presented by those students of different ethnicities on the floors of the stage attracted the spectators who were present to witness the mammoth show of fellowship and solidarity.
Education authorities, Principals, teachers, parents and a large gathering witnessed the arrangement, supported by Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, SFHQ-MLT. The theme harmony and reconciliation reverberated throughout the entire programme.
