Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) in response to a request of the clergy at newly-established Wadduwakal Sri Sapthakannimar Kovil, provided the required timber for construction work of the temple.
Following a recent visit to the premises by Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, SFHQ-MLT, the council of trustees requested the Army to provide a stock of timber for completion of windows, doors, furniture and archways to the temple.
Accordingly on the directions of Major General Dias, the stock of timber was delivered to the temple premises on Friday (11). A senior officer of the SFHQ-MLT and Commanding Officer of the 23 Sri Lanka Light Infantry serving the area under the 591 Brigade of the 59 Division visited the place for delivery of the stock.
