Low-Income Families Receive Dry Ration

Selected 250 low-income families of Uniyamkulam village in  Kilinochchi received dry ration parcels, each worth of Rs. 3,500/= during a brief ceremony, headed by General Officer Commanding, 57 Division on Sunday (02). 

The donation was organized on the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi by Commanding Officer, 20 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) .

During the ceremony, Rs. 10,000/= worth sports items were handed over to the Uniyamkulam Sports Club.

Community leaders, Mr. P. Jayanath, Mr. A. Adirahami, Mrs. C. Periyanadan and Mr. Maniwathan attended the occasion.
