With the motive of uplifting their knowledge of the officers serving the Security Force Headquarters- Wanni (SFHQ-W), a training workshop on contemporary topics of Sri Lanka’s Economy, Diplomacy and Politics by Year 2020, Future Shape of the Military Forces in terms of political development in the North was held at the 62 Division Headquarters in Vavuniya on Tuesday (10).
The workshop was conducted by reputed lecturers, Major General Gamini Hettiarachchi (Retd), Managing Director of Disaster Management, Dr R.M.K. Ratnayake, Lawyer Mr. Gomin Dayasri and Dr Prathiba Mahanamahewa. It was organized on the directions of Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W.
General Officers Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and other senior officers of Wanni area attended the occasion.
