Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) on account of the National Tree Planting Week (Deyata Sevana) recently conducted tree planting campaigns in 23 Division, 224 Brigade, 22 Division, 232 Brigade and a few more units during November 18-25.
5 Sri Lanka Artillery (5 SLA) troops serving Thopur under 224 Brigade of the 22 Division conducted a tree planting programme inside the 5 SLA camp premises in Kattaparichchan.
128 coconut saplings, 200 margosa plants, 150 jak plants, 50 woodapple saplings, 15 mango saplings and a large stock of other saplings were planted inside the 23 Division Headquarters during the Deyata Sevana campaign.
Meanwhile, 232 Brigade troops in connection with the tree planting campaign planted 64 coconut saplings inside their Brigade Headquarters.
