Nearly one hundred Army personnel including officers serving the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) on account of Binara Full Moon Poya Day (19) participated in a Sil observance campaign at Kahagolla Sri Gnanarama monastery.
On the directions of Major General U.A.B Medawala, Commander, SFHQ-C those Army personnel early in the morning attended the Buddha Pooja, Mal Pooja and Gilanpasa Pooja activities before they began observing Sil (precepts).
The day’s programme was conducted by the Chief Monk at the monastery.
