Troops Volunteer to Build a New House to a Disabled Rehabilitee

Troops of 25 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and 9 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) under 611 Brigade laid a foundation stone to build a new house to a disable female rehabilitee at Marakkarampali recently.

Troops after learning economic hardships faced by Ms Singanandan Sinduja with her disability and the status of their existing house volunteered to attend to this noble cause.

25 SLLI troops and 9 SLSR troops with the guidance of 61 Division will engaged in the construction.

Colonel M.P Lamahewa, 611 Brigade Commander, 25 SLLI and 9 SLSR commanding officers, family members of Ms Singanandan Sinduja participated for this occasion.
