Army Warrant Officer I Nadeeka Lakmalee Qualify for final round in IAAF

Sri Lanka Army Warrant Officer I Nadeeka Lakmalee made history on Friday (16) when she qualified to enter the finals in women Javelin throw, event in the ongoing International Association of Athletic Federation (IAAF) World Athletic Championships in Moscow.

She is the second Sri Lankan to enter the final round of IAAF World Athletic Championships after the sprinter, Susanthika Jayasingha.
