Soldiers of 211 Brigade under Security Force Headquarters Wanni (SFHQ-W) extended their helping hand to ease the difficulties faced by low income families living in 211 Brigade area Saturday (27) in a simple ceremony held at ‘Bodhi Dakshinaramaya’ Vavuniya.
About 1000 dry ration parcels worth Rs: 2 million were of distributed among villagers. Financial assistance for this noble cause was given by Ven Nakulugamuwe Sumana thero of ‘Asarana Sarana’ society.
Lieutenant Colonel T.M.P.B Thenakoon civil coordinating officer 211 Brigade, other senior officers’ local village heads participated for this event.
