An essential requirement to the villages of Kovilvayal was fulfilled on Monday (22), when a long required bus services for the village instigated in a simple ceremony.
Brigadier B.H.M.A Wijesingha, General Officer Commanding 55 Division, after seen the hardship faced by the villages and school children of Kovilvayal, made a request to Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Jaffna District Depot for a bus service to this village. This service is to function daily, from Kovilvayal to Jaffna town.
Lieutenant Colonel C.G.J.N. de Silva Civil Coordinator 55 Division, many senior officers, manager of Jaffna bus depot, villages and school children attended the ceremony.
