Sri Lanka’s resident representative of the UN humanitarian affairs Mr Subinay Nandy, together with a delegation toured Kilinochchi area on Thursday (23) and met Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN).
The delegation met Kilinochchi Commander over lunch and discussed a wide range of issues of concern to them.
Exchange of mementos culminated the day’s meeting. Several senior officers were present at the occasion.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Special Envoy Yashushi Akashi, along with several delegates arrived in Kilinochchi on a tour on Friday (24).
During their stay in Kilinochchi, they met Kilinochchi Commander and shared a couple of views on relevant issues.
