With the intention of promoting health of civilians living in Monarawewa and Gajabapura villages under Gajabapura Grama Niladari Division in Mullaittivu District, a three-day seminar on first aid and community health was organized by 62 Division under Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W) during July 24-26.
Hundreds of civilians attended the seminar supported by the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) at the 621 Brigade Headquarters auditorium.
The project, initiated by Brigadier G.J.L Waduge, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division, enlightened the public on emergency first aid, medical requirements, oral health, physical health and germ free environment, etc.
