The Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) repeating its conduct of the mobile relief service held one more interactive session exclusively for family members of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) War Heroes in the Central Province on Saturday (4) at the Rifle Corps Headquarters, Kandy.
Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB, the lady behind the valuable project met about 70 family members of fallen SLAC War Heroes in Kandy and gave a patient hearing in order to learn their unresolved grievances or any other problems related to them, if any.
During those discussions, financial grants for completion of several War Hero houses were also given away.
Mrs Jayasuriya together with the representative Army authorities and senior SVAB members spoke to each and every spouse during the sessions at Rifle Corps Headquarters.
Mrs Jayasuriya and SVAB members on arrival at the venue were welcomed by a little child of a family belonging to one of the fallen War Heroes.
