A drinking water well, dug and constructed with the support of 211 Brigade troops and FRIDSRO organization in Vavuniya district based Palleruwa village where resettled people are living, was offered for public use during a brief ceremony on Friday (20).
10 families in the area are to be benefited due to opening of this new well since most of them had to walk far away to fetch water before this construction.
Colonel J.A.H.M Jayasuriya, Commander, 211 Brigade Headquarters, Civil Affairs Officer and a gathering of civilians attended the occasion.
