622 Brigade Headquarters-organized one more community project got underway recently covering Kokkuthuduvai and Karavaddukerni villages under the Maritimepattu Divisional Secretariat in 22 Division area.
31 push bicycles, chickens for 24 families, one sewing machine, water carrying pipes, all worth over Rs 745,000/= were distributed among civilians in those areas with the support given by the non-governmental organization, ‘Zoa’.
The programme, organized by the 622 Brigade Headquarters, was inaugurated with the attendance of several senior Army officers and ‘Zoa’ representatives.
