211 Brigade Headquarters serving Vavuniya area under the Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W) conducted a bilingual seminar for students attending the G.C.E (O/L) and (A/L) examinations and distributed sets of new uniform among 335 students.
The seminar conducted in Tamil and Sinhala languages by eminent and popular teachers of different subjects before free distribution of school uniforms took place with the patronage received from Singapore Maha Bodhi Karuna Foundation. The two-day seminar took place separately at Vavuniya Tamil Maha Vidyalaya and Vavuniya Matavaithyakulam Chenchulan Educational Institute.
Brigadier P.M.S.A Pallemulla, Commander, 211 Brigade Headquarters attended the inaugural occasions of both seminars as the Chief Guest.
Several representatives of the Singapore’s Maha Bodhi Karuna Foundation, teachers, and other invitees participated in the events during those two days.
