Commander and all ranks of the Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SF-J) with the intention of sharing their concerns for well-being of all War Heroes recently made a monetary contribution to the ‘Api Wenuven Api’ Ranaviru Housing Fund, initiated by the Ministry of Defence.
Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Commander SF-J on behalf of all the soldiers serving Jaffna, handed over a cheque to the value of Rs. 2 million to the visiting Defence Secretary Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa, founder of the ‘Api Wenuven Api’ Ranaviru Housing Project during Mr Rajapaksa’s stopover at ‘Thalsewana Holiday Resort’ at Kankesanthurai.
The donation was made using profits made from the SF-J run farm.
