A meeting with representatives of law-enforcement authorities, headed by Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) took place on Wednesday (24).
Taking into consideration of security concerns, developing in some areas, following spread of rumours and fabricated stories by interested scrupulous elements, the meeting discussed measures that should be adopted in the event of any illegal uprisings, collection of intelligence, maintenance of high level of discipline among service personnel, etc.
Representatives of Tri-services and the Police attended the discussion.
