A two-day workshop on bee-keeping for resettled people in Kilinochchi took place during August 21 - 22 at Malayalapuram pre-school premises as a measure, meant to find employment.
During the sessions, 55 bee boxes were given away to 55 families in the area by the Officer Commanding, 25 Gajaba Regiment. The workshop educated the public on this money spinning domestic industry. Troops also assured support to the public for sale of their products after proper bee-keeping practice gets underway.
