521 Brigade troops serving Point Pedro area, showing gestures of goodwill and assistance for promotion of living standards of resettled civilians in Rajagaman and Nagarkovil villages, organized a donation of dry ration packets among them.
One hundred parcels of essential food items, each to the value of about Rs. 1000/= were distributed among those needy families on 30 - 31 July by 521 Brigade soldiers after visiting those villages.
The donation organized by the Civil Affairs office of the Brigade was sponsored by Mr. M.N.M. Mohammed, a businessman from the South.
