Security Forces Commander, Kilinochchi Major General L.W.C.B.P Rajaguru received the salute from passing out trainees after completion of one-month long Buddy Trio Training at Buddy Trio Training School in Mulangavil, Kilinochchi.
The passing out parade of 85 more Army personnel, including 3 officers took place on 3rd August 2010 where Major General L.W.C.B.P Rajaguru attended as Chief Guest on the occasion.
Those trainees were picked from the best platoons in volunteer battalions who had undergone the Advanced Infantry Platoon Training (AIPT) course.
During this one-month long training, they received training in all spheres of small team operations, making them experts in small operations techniques. This special training provides skills needed for such missions independently.
Corporal D.M.W.G Disanayake, 16 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Regiment was adjudged the Best Student in the batch.
General Officers Commanding (GOCs) in Divisions under Security Forces Headquarters in Kilinochchi, Brigade Commanders and Commanding officers were among the gathering who witnessed the parade.
