As final touches are being provided to the overall security arrangements in connection with the forthcoming annual Madhu Shrine feast, Major General D.G.H.K. Gunaratne, Commander, Security Forces, Wanni along with senior Army and Police officers met Madhu Shrine authorities and looked into security arrangements.
Discussions centered on facilities available for pilgrims, parking areas, overnight staying areas, water supplies, sanitary arrangements, etc. Shrine authorities were also enlightened on this aspect during separate discussions.
Brigadiers A. Kariyakarawana, A.P. De Z. Wickremaratne, R. Ratnasingham, Superintendents of Police, Senior Police and Army officers and several state officials were associated with this discussion.
