Renowned business establishment, David Pieris Motors Company Ltd was the latest donor who came forward to put up two villas at ongoing ‘Abimansala’, wellness resort at Anuradhapura under the ‘Brave Hearts’ project at a cost of Rs. 10 million.
The construction project, meant for War Heroes who became permanently disable after injuries in the fight against terrorists is to be a reality soon, following an initiative taken by Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya. The public has so far responded to the project magnanimously as construction work is in progress.
An installment of Rs. 2 million, from the total donation was presented to a representative of the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) on Wednesday (4) by Mr Jagath Kulathunga, Executive Director (sales) at David Pieris Motors Company Ltd.
The company, impressed with this mammoth humanitarian project for the welfare of permanently disable War Heroes and their family members, has assured continued support for the project in the future too.
