MAJOR GENERAL L.W.C.B.B. Rajaguru who was promoted recently to the rank of Major General was the latest senior officer to be promoted to this rank from the Sinha Regiment. Therefore Major General Rajaguru was felicitated by the Sinha Regiment at its Regimental Centre in Ambepussa on 12 June 2010 by according him a Guard of Honour according to military traditions and a tea party at Warrant Officers and Sergeant’s Mess. Major General D.R.A.B. Jayathilake, the Regimental Commander of the Sinha Regiment presented a memento to Major General Rajaguru in appreciation of his services to the Army and the Regiment.
