TICKETS for sale in aid of the upcoming Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) organized fund-raising musical extravaganza, “Tharu Dilena Reyak” for construction of Anuradhapura ‘Abimansala’ (wellness resort) began today (9) when Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President SVAB distributed tickets among representatives of all Regiments in the Army.
During a special meeting convened at the SVAB auditorium, modalities regarding the sale of “Tharu Dilena Reyak” were taken up for discussion. Mrs Jayasuriya chaired the meeting.
The discussion, attended by all Presidents of Regimental Seva Vanitha Units and senior members of the SVAB highlighted the importance of selling all the tickets for the show as the ‘Abimansala’ has already got underway after the foundation stone was laid on 15th May, this year.
