THE FINALS in Sri Lanka Army inter Regiment Volley Ball tournament was held at indoor stadium, National youth Services Council, Maharagama this evening (25).
The tournament continued from 11th May todate with the participation of 18 male and three female teams from different Regiments from Sri Lanka Army.
The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya watched the finals on Tuesday in the company of Senior Officers in the Army including Brigadier Sunil Wanniarachchi, President Sri Lanka Army Volley Ball Committee.
Gajaba Regiment players emerged champions of the men’s Super League tournament beating Sri Lanka Army General Services Corps and the Engineer Services Regiment became champions for the men's 'A' division tournament defeating Sri Lanka Army Engineers in the finals held.
