VIR Builds 45 Houses &;amp; Handed Over

WITH the support of land owners and religious leaders in the area, troops belonging to 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), 3 (V) VIR and 12 (V) VIR under Security Forces Headquarters, Jaffna, (SFHQ-J) have completed the construction of 45 new houses for IDP returnees at Chavakachcheri, Kaithady and Nunavil areas under the SFHQ-J initiated 680 house programme.

All houses constructed by troops within a matter of few weeks under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 52 Division were handed over to the recipients recently during brief ceremonies.
