FOUR HUNDRED and twenty-two new recruits received training under Recruit Course No. 55 of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) training wing passed out recently during a military ceremony at Ambepussa SLSR Regimental Headquarters ground.
Brigadier H.J Senevirathna, Director, Army Directorate of Personnel Administration received the salute of the passing out parade on the occasion as Chief Guest. Recruit D.A.D.N Prasad (S/2023854) received the award for the Best Recruit from the Chief Guest.
Parents, relatives, well-wishers of the new recruits and a large number of senior officers and other ranks witnessed the parade.
