The special "Kumbabhisheka Pooja" ritual at the famous Thiru Murukkandy Sri Ganapathi Hindu Kovil (temple) at Murukkandy, Mankulam was inducted last Sunday (13), amidst a large gathering of devotees after an absence of several years. Special offerings and prayer sessions were conducted by Hindu priests, in accordance with religious traditions that marked the re-opening of the temple.
