IN order to review the progress on rehabilitation and resettlement projects in Wanni area, Maldivian Defence Minister Mr. Ameen Fisar and Defence Advisor to Indian government Mr. Pradeep Singh flew to Vavuniya on Friday (7).
During their visit, they met Brigadier Administration and Quartering of the Security Forces Headquarters-Wanni, Brigadier S. Ranasinghe and discussed matters pertaining to rehabilitation and resettlement of the IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons), presently housed in Relief Villages in Vavuniya and elsewhere.
