COLOMBO: LTTE’s FORMER Media Coordinator, DAYA MASTER alias VELAYUDAN DAYANIDHI who has been under Police interrogations after his surrender along with THAMIL SELVAM’s interpreter, GEORGE MASTER, has admitted that security guards to THAMIL SELVAM openly fired in front of him and killed a few Tamil youths for molesting a small girl.
The crime, according to the confession, has taken place in the mid of year 2007, despite a spate of national and international criticisms that were leveled against the terrorist outfit over many sexual abuses, committed on the minors in former LTTE controlled areas. DAYA MASTER’s statement to the Police affirmed that Tiger terrorists after taking law and order unto their hands have carried out those types of dastardly crimes, as and when the LTTE wanted.
State Intelligence Services were of the view that many such sexual abuses, carried out secretly with the connivance of Tiger leadership, did not find any exposures to the outside world, since parents and adults of those victims were living under the jackboot of the dictatorial terrorist leader at that point of time.
