SFHQ-C Troops Support Blood Donation Programme

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) gave their fullest support to conduct a blood donation campaign, held at Sri Rathnayaka Mudalindaramaya Temple, Amunudowa, Bandarawela on Saturday (26).

Major General P. U. S Vithanage, Commander, Security Forces-Central directed Army soldiers to assist the event at the request of the temple incumbent.

Ven Goradiyakumbure Dhammasiri Thero, the resident monk at Sri Rathnayaka Mudalindaramaya Temple performed religious observances before commencement of the day’s event, together with other monks.

Army personnel, Police officers and villagers participated in the programme and supported it. A total of 26 Army personnel, including one officer donated blood.
