‘Hinduboree’ centenary camporee of the Jaffna Hindu College organized by Rover Scout Group took place on Saturday (10).
Students at Central College - Kilinochchi, Pandiyankulam Maha Vidyalaya and St. John’s College - Jaffna too joined the camporee.
Commander, Security Force - Kilinochchi (SF- KLN) was invited to attend the camporee. 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops under the command of 653 Brigade and 65 Division of the SFHQ - KLN facilitated the conduct of the event.
The organizers of the camporee presented a plaque to the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi in appreciation of his presence during his stay in the camporee.
Senior officers, officers and Non Commissioned Officers also participated in the event where a large gathering of school scouts students, teachers and civilians assembled.
