A Bodhi Pooja was organized by the troops of the 7 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (7 SLAOC) of the Security Force Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Esala Poya Day (19) to transfer merits on fallen War Heroes and invoke blessings on serving Army personnel.
The programme was conducted on the instructions of Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu (SF-MLT).
Ven. Polonnaruwe Thilakalankara Thero, Chief Incumbent at Kiriibbanwewa Temple delivered a valuable Dhamma sermon during the “Bodhi Pooja Pinkama”, held at the Muladeepa Temple.
Senior officers, officers, other ranks and civil staff of the SF-MLT attended the day’s event.
