Saranath College, Kuliyapitiya, held a special felicitation ceremony on 15 May 2025 to honour Major General B.M.R.J Bandara, Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) and a distinguished old boy of the school, in recognition of his outstanding achievements and continued service to the nation.
The Senior Officer, in his speech, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him and reflected on the formative influence the school had on his journey. The ceremony concluded with a message encouraging students to pursue excellence, grounded in education and strong values.
