Troops of 51 Infantry Division organised a school bag donation programme at Palali North GTM School on 29 May 2025, benefiting 40 schoolchildren from low-income families.
The event was made possible through the financial sponsorship of Mr T. Mohanaras, owner of Thenu Food City, Jaffna.
Commander, Security Force Jaffna, Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Major General M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division and troops of 9 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry also gave their assistance to successfully conduct the programme.
