Deputy Chief of Staff Visits 6 and 7 Field Engineer Regiments

Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, visited the 6 Field Engineer Regiment and the 7 Field Engineer Regiment on 26 and 27 May 2025.

The Colonel Commandant was warmly received by the respective Commanding Officers and then Guard Turnouts were accorded at each location in accordance with military traditions.

Addressing all ranks at both battalions, he emphasised that discipline, professionalism and operational readiness are the cornerstones of a successful military force. He further elaborated on the Clean Sri Lanka Initiative launched by the Government, stressing that every military personnel must actively contribute to this national campaign.
