Commander of the Army Attends LANPAC 2025 as a Distinguished Guest

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, participated as a distinguished guest at the Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium & Exposition 2025, held from 13 – 15 May 2025 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The event, organised annually by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), serves as a key international platform highlighting the role of land forces in the Indo-Pacific region and their contributions to the Joint Force in times of peace and conflict.

This year’s symposium drew over two thousand attendees, including government officials, defense industry leaders and military commanders from across the globe. LANPAC 2025 featured world-class speakers and focused discussions on the future of the Indo-Pacific theatre.

During the symposium, Commander of the Army held several high-level meetings with senior military leaders, further reinforcing Sri Lanka’s commitment to regional cooperation. These engagements emphasised the importance of building strategic partnerships and interoperability among nations in the Indo-Pacific.
