Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, ceremonially inaugurated the ‘Bauddhaloka Vesak Zone’ on 14 May 2025 at Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo.
The event, organised by the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress of the President’s Office, included a variety of religious and cultural programmes. Highlights included the exhibition of Vesak pandals and lanterns, Bhakthi Gee (devotional songs), a cultural exhibition, and presentations of Buddhist film songs.
