Coordinating Conference of the Army Internal Affairs Unit

The first Coordinating Conference of the Army Internal Affairs Unit, headed by Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff, was held at the Conference Room of the Chief of Staff on 6 May 2025.

The Chief of Staff explained the details of the circular issued by the Presidential Secretariat and emphasised the importance of establishing an Internal Affairs Unit in every Army establishment to implement the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ initiative.

Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Adjutant General and the Integrity Officer of the Army Internal Affairs Unit, elaborated further details to the members of the Army Internal Affairs Unit. The participants also engaged in a detailed discussion on operationalisation, implementation, assessment, issuance of instructions and guidelines, reporting and monitoring and training of staff.
