The members of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) visited Abhimansala II in Kamburupitiya on 01 May 2025 under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne, the Chairperson of GW-SVB, to inquire the wellbeing of differently-abled war heroes.
During the visit, a television worth Rs. 50,000.00 and gift parcels containing essential items were presented to the inmates. The event concluded with a tea session and meals for the war heroes, followed by an entertainment session and a group photograph.
Major General W.B.J.K. Wimalaratne RWP RSP, the Director General Infantry and Colonel of the Regiment of the GW, members of the GW-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
